Refrigeration Environmental Protection Association, Inc. (R.E.P.A.) began as a family business established in 1991 to provide HVAC/R training for technicians in residential and commercial property management. When the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mandated requirements for all air conditioning and refrigeration technicians to become certified in the proper usage and safe handling of refrigerants, REPA became one of the twelve original EPA approved certifying organization under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act. To assist organizations and their technicians to comply with the new laws, R.E.P.A. developed a technician certification program which allows organizations to provide in-house training, testing, and certification.

R.E.P.A.’s certification training and testing materials are now being used by industry suppliers, associations, educational institutes and government agencies. Our test pass rate is so successful, REPA’s training and testing program was chosen by the U.S. Department of State to be implemented in Embassies throughout the world.

This combinations of talent and responsiveness-guided by sound management – allows REPA to meet customers’ needs in a wide range of areas.

R.E.P.A, Inc. is a woman owned and certified MBE and WBE and is one of the few companies to receive “Grandfathering” status for all three types of certification of its voluntary program. We urge you to call R.E.P.A. at 1-800-435-3331 to receive information about where to get certified in your area.
